The National Institute for Literacy was established in 1991 by the National Literacy Act and extended under the Workforce Investment Act.

Katrina Lancaster

Katrina Lancaster joined the staff of the National Institute for Literacy as a Management and Operations Specialist in the Executive Office in March 2000. She has over 17 years of experience as a career Federal employee. Ms. Lancaster has held positions in several executive offices including the U.S. Department of Education and the Small Business Administration. Katrina is responsible for a variety of administrative matters, including the processing and/or preparation of invoice payments, personnel documents, procurement documents, budget documents, and various other administrative documents.
