Adult Education, Literacy Stakeholders Convene

On July 7 - 8, 2009, the Institute and the Department of Education, Office of Vocational and Adult Education hosted an invitational meeting of adult education and literacy stakeholders from across the nation. The purpose of the meeting was to update participants on the scope of national investments related to adult education and literacy. Participants were also invited to provide input about the field's research, development needs, and innovative approaches to educating low-skilled adults.
