I work at an adult education resource and information service in Australia.
We have had a request from someone in the US for information about learning
to read through using videos. Although I have suggested that there may be
other more effective means of improving literacy skills, I feel I should
provide the person with information about relevant and 'good' vidoes.
There are a couple of Australian videos (with accompanying workbooks) that
I would be happy to recommend but USA has a different video system from
Australia so our videos won't work on your machines and vice versa.

Any suggestions?

Jan

Do you have any suggestions for teaching a self-conscious adult to read
> >through video tapes. I found a set on the internet about 2 months ago.
> >When I went back to buy the set, I couldn't find it. I really appreciate
> >your time and thank you in advance for any advice you may have.
