Hi Everyone:

The EFF Website is located
at:<http://www.nifl.gov/lincs/collections/eff/eff.html>. Visit the EFF site
to learn more about the EFF initiative. Anyone with an active Internet
connection and a web-browsing program can download the EFF framework
components and the EFF Content Standards publication, and can find out about
current EFF publications, announcements, events, and related resources.

The NIFL-4EFF Discussion List Archives is another place to find information
about where the EFF initiative is these days. To view the 2000 archives, go
to: <http://www.nifl.gov/lincs/collections/eff>. Select "Online Discussion"
from the "Features" menu and choose the archives for a special year.

The EFF Website is a Special Collection of LINCS. The National LINCS site is
located at:< http://www.nifl.gov/lincs>. LINCS is the National Institute for
Literacy's on-line connection to adult literacy information. Region-specific
collections are available to connect state and local organizations,
practitioners, researchers and learners.

I like to visit the LINCS section called NewsFlashes. It's updated on Fridays
and covers news from the Thursday Notes, Ed Initiative, from major print and
online news media, sometimes news about local or state programs or adult
learner achievements, technology literacy, and also international lieracy
related issues. NewsFlashes is located at:
<http://www.nifl.gov/lincs/whats_new/flash_1_2000.html>

Finally, if you know someone who would like to subscribe to the NIFL-4EFF
Discussion List, send them to: <http://www.nifl.gov/lincs/collections/eff>.
To subscribe, choose the option "Subscribe to the NIFL-4EFF List" and follow
the prompts. You can also subscribe by sending the following message from
your e-mail account:

To: listproc@literacy.nifl.gov
Subject: leave blank
Message: Subscribe NIFL-4EFF your first name your last name

Thanks,
Ronna
