MY LINCS is a feature on the National Institute for Literacy's LINCS (Literacy Information aNd Communication System). MY LINCS is designed for busy users who don't have a lot of time to browse in cyberspace. It provides them quick and easy access to the specific information they most need. MY LINCS allows you to customize the LINCS site according to your interests. Register free with MY LINCS and select your areas of interest in the field of literacy. We will provide you with a LINCS web page that meets your needs. Every time you log in, you 'll access your "My LINCS" page, which will notify you of new information and resources on LINCS of particular interest to you. You can also choose to have email alerts sent to you periodically to keep you updated on the latest information. Register with MY LINCS to save time and stay informed about what really interests you in literacy. Just click on the red My LINCS button located on the top of every LINCS page. I registered with MY LINCS, selecting EFF as my area of interest. There are currently 49 resource listed on my page. They are hot linked to various articles, publications, and web sites that are relevant to EFF, standards based education and system reform. Many of the links are the resources on the EFF website, the components, the standards, and the EFF publications, for example. Whenever a new resource related to EFF is added to the National LINCS I get an email message letting me know, so it is a relatively easy/convenient way to stay informed.
