Hi,
We often do magazine collages as a way to ask the students 1. what they are happy with in their life right now 2. what they might want to change 3. what their goals are or 4. what is important to them. They enjoy these and paste them on paper, share and discuss them and the time flies by. It is a good way to share personal things about yourself and talk and relax in a new group setting.

Hi all,
We are starting an adult ESL (almost all Spanish speaking) class as part of our Even Start Family Literacy project (also work with the 4-year-old children of these adults). I'm wondering if anyone has ideas for warm-up sponge activities to keep people busy as the amble in for orientation and (the next day) class. ??

Thanks,

Mark Sabol
