Our adult ed program here in Knoxville, TN seems to be enrolling more and more 17 and 18 year olds and many of them live in group homes. Our Learning Skills orientation class introduces the framework and teaches to specific standards to the group(ages range from 17 and up.) but our primary focus is literacy and preparing students for the GED classes. Do students keep a portfolio of their learning or something different? I would really like to here an update in June. Would you be willing to share some of your students' thoughts on the project? Thank you for your time and reply. Sincerely, Emily McDonald-Littleton Facilitator/Teacher Knoxville, TN emilychad@yahoo.com
