We presented a full day training two times. We used both scripts and added some additional material, one of which was a "pictograph" of the sixteen skills described in the wheel. We had teams working to name the skills. The immediate result was that we heard people talking about each skill using the language from the wheel; people increased their EFF fluency rapidly. It allows participants construct there own knowledge. The pictograph was used with the novices during the December institute, but the intermediate and advanced groups may not be familiar with it. There is no credit given on the paper itself. Does anyone know who created it? It allows participants construct there own knowledge. -- Sarah Beaman-Jones Family Literacy Specialist LIFT-Missouri 500 Northwest Plaza, Suite 601 St. Louis, MO 63047 1-800-729-4443 http://lift-missouri.org
