Here is a little background: We know if a tutor meets with two students at one time that we record their hours separately for each student. For example, they meet for 8 hours one month, this would equal 16 total hours for that tutor, 8 hours for each student. Question: If a tutor has a group of 10 students and meets for 8 hours a month, do you give that tutor a total of 80 hours of instruction, or only 8 hours? As many of you probably know LitPro's group menu option doesn't record the cumulative student hours, so as it stands in the database the tutor would only receive 8 hours. However, this doesn't appear to accurately reflect the tutor student hours in relation to the first scenario: Two students to separate sets of tutor student hours. Please, let me know what your program is doing in regards to this situation. John Darter Literacy Project Associate 707-253-4237 jdarter@co.napa.ca.us
