The Mayor's Commission on Literacy is pleased to present the 13th Annual
Computers in Adult Literacy Conference. The conference will take place
from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. at Temple University's new state-of-the-art
Tuttleman Learning Center in Philadelphia.

The Mayor's Commission on Literacy presents this conference each year
both to showcase some of the innovative practices that educators have
developed and to help advance the technology skills of literacy
     practitioners.

The conference features workshops, vendors, door prizes, and a keynote
address. This year, sessions include "The Professional Development
Kit: Multimedia Resources for Adult Educators," "Using Email as a
Teaching Tool," "Getting to Know Computer Hardware," "Technology
Planning in the Real World," "GED 2002 - Taking the Fear out of
     Mathematics," and much, much more.

For registration forms and a complete list of workshop sessions, visit
     http://www.philaliteracy.org/conference.html. Don't delay-- the
     registration deadline is April 23!
