Hi everyone,

If the volume of e-mail from this list is annoying, but you do not wish to
get off the list altogether, you can set the format to "digest." This means
you get your messages bundled and delivered once a day instead of a stream
of messages coming in - whenever. To set the format to digest, send the
following message:

set nifl-4eff mail digest

to:

<listproc@literacy.nifl.gov>.

The "set mail digest" command works for any of the discussion lists archived
through NIFL LINCS <http://www.nifl.gov/lincs/discussions/discussions.html>.
Just insert the appropriate list name. Remember you must be subscribed to a
list to be able to set the format to digest. Should you want to "undo" the
setting - your message would then read:

set nifl-4eff mail.
