From my viewpoint, I also get to see evolving patterns in the type of trainings the EFF National Center has provided. In the 2 years I have been with the Center, I have seen our trainings transition from one-shot "awareness" events into focused, ongoing training in specific states which have chosen a commitment to using EFF. Some states, such as South Carolina, have used a mentor/mentee site model in which specified mentor sites are designated to assist mentee sites. All sites then get together every month or so to continue sharing what they have learned & troubleshoot challenges that have arisen. If you look at the EFF web site's calendar of events http://www.nifl.gov/lincs/collections/eff/eff_news_events.html you will see some states who have long-term training plans set up. Please look for our update to this calendar (due 11/16) to see new states who have committed to a series of EFF trainings!
