I am a MLIS student and was wondering if anyone out there knows of any =
literacy requirements for their state's welfare system.  I live in CA =
and already know ours. =20
I discovered that Ontario, Canada requires recipients to take a test =
before getting any benefits.  If the applicant fails the test, that =
person must enroll in a literacy program.  Are there any states out =
there who have similar requirements?  Thanks for the help.
