However, the cost of the training is a matter of some concern to me. We want to have two trainings: one in December and another in the spring and our total budget for both events is about $5,000. Emily has laid out a good 1.5 day training and ideally, we would like to stay with that. Savings can be had with early purchase of the airline ticket (~$300.00), different hotel accommodations (~$50/day), the use of Amtrak from Albuquerque to Gallup instead of a rental car ($48 + $20 cab) and meals at UNM-G rate of $26/day. This would put travel expenses at about $550.00. Would you be willing to negotiate a rate for contract services that would keep the cost of a 1.5 day training, plus materials, and travel at about $2500, with the stipulation that a third training of similar or somewhat shorter duration would be scheduled for spring of 2002?
