My mind was racing ahead of my typing yesterday. The new name of the center here in Tennessee is the EFF Center for Training and Technical Assistance! Also, I wanted to introduce two new staff members of the EFF Center. Diane Gardner, the new EFF PD and Certification Coordinator, and Virginia Bleazey, the new Operations Manager began work on Oct. 1. We have not made a decision on the third position, the Program and Resource Developer, and are still taking applications for that position. Diane has been a member of the CLS staff for three years working on the Tennessee adult education grant. She has developed and implemented a workforce education initiative to develop the capacity of adult educators to partner with business and industry and has trained all the adult education programs in the state. She is also currently an examiner in the Tennessee Baldridge Quality project. Virginia is transferring to CLS from the UT Veterinary School where she is currently the Senior Budget Assistant. She brings a wealth of experience in budgeting, management, and contracting. We are pleased to have these two new members of the EFF team. Jean Jean J.
