Several of you mentioned wanting training "soon" with the EFF/Reading
connections. Amy Trawick, Mary Dunn-Siedow, and Nancy Sledd will be
presenting a two-day preconference session at the National Conference
on Family Literacy in Long Beach, CA on March 14-15, 2003.
For more information, go to:
http://www.famlit.org/conference/sessions.html#precon I checked
yesterday, and there are still seats available in this training
session.

Effective Reading Strategies for Adults
Focusing on key findings from evidence-based reading research,
participants will use current research, along with tools and practices
from Equipped for the Future, in developing a comprehensive reading
program for adults across the four components of family literacy
services.

Thoughts are like arrows: Once released, they strike their mark.
Guard them well or one day you may be your own victim.
