Hello Jeanette and all,
I, too, am distressed by the cuts in funding and human resources that will
impact the continuing formal integration and implementation of EFF into adult
education programs and beyond. Given the source of EFF (real people living real
lives) it will never disappear, sort of following the tradition that everything
that went into EFF was recognized and validated rather than having been
"invented." I've long held the belief that EFF belongs in K-12 as well as
adult education and hope that the connections along those lines here in Maine
will continue to be looked at and strengthened. Having the 4-EFF listserve to
reach out to others for input and reaction will be a great help, and I join
Jeanette in hoping to have this valuable resource continue.
