Her work with imaging is both revolutionary and evolutionary--it comes on top of years of research, and really does show the possible uses of these new brain imaging techniques. After the brain imaging, I was particularly interested in how dyslexic adults approached reading, what techniques they use, now, to master written materials, and what steps lead in the past to their eventual mastery of reading.
