Hello Everyone,

All the talk about goal setting reminds me of an EFF-based resource that was
developed in Virginia by a group at New River Community College called
"Charting a Course: Preliminary Needs Assessment Using Equipped for the
Future." It is a short resource containing practical learner-based
activities, among them are needs assessment and goal setting activities. It
is available online through the Resource Center in pdf and Microsoft Word
formats at:
http://www.aelweb.vcu.edu/pdfs/charting.pdf and
http://www.aelweb.vcu.edu/word/charting.doc

If these links don't work, try visiting the publications section of the
Resource Center website at: http://www.pubinfo.vcu.edu/vaelc/publications/
and scrolling to "Charting a Course" on the menu.

Best wishes,

Don Finn
