Colleagues,

You still have time, and there is still space for you at the ProLit
Conference in Washington, DC. The pre-conference seminars to be held on Friday,
November 14, 2003, are full day learning opportunities (unless otherwise noted). The
registration fee for a seminar is $110. You may choose only one seminar.

One of those seminars features two members of the EFF Reading Project: Amy
Trawick and Mary Dunn Siedow. The title of their presentation is Supporting
Beginning Readers in Read With Understanding

Use the reading research in ways that are meaningful to adults. This

interactive session will explore instruction that supports beginning readers

in developing the knowledge and strategies needed to perform the Equipped

for the Future Standard: Read With Understanding. Materials and approaches

developed as part of the EFF Reading Project will be shared.

Go to the website to find out more and to register.
http://www.proliteracy.org/conference/general.asp

We are very proud of Amy and the RWU Reading Project Team. You will be glad
you attended.

All the Best,
Meta Potts, Moderator 4-EFF List
