Colleagues,

I have been told that Einstein once said that the world is not made up of
atoms. It is made up of stories. I believe that, don't you?

Here is one: Last week, I was in Mexico, and for a couple of days, I had a
driver. He told me that his sister had gone to the US to work, leaving her
family for three years so that she could get a job and send them money. *You
can't imagine how sad it is,* he said. *The only happy time she has is when she
goes to her class to learn English. She calls that her Adult Education
class.* And then he asked, *Have you heard about that?*

*Yes,* I said. *Those classes are conducted by my colleagues and friends.*

So, I just had to tell you Jorge's story and to thank you for being the
*happy part* of lonely people's lives. On this Thanksgiving, I will remember you
when I count my blessings.
