Dear Sondra and Meta,
Thank you, Sondra, for reaffirming the democratic process you followed in constructing EFF. Thank you, Meta, for describing the process you went through in relation to "family." Political discourse is confused and contradictory as to what constitutes a family; the rhetoric is exhausting.
I love the glimpses I have gotten from you both of how the program became what it is today, and would like to know more of the details when either of you have time or inclination to write about this. The genesis of EFF must have drawn on a lot of brain power, energy, commitment, and personal experience.
Happy holidays to all,it is pouring rain in the northeast, Santa will have to swim. AND one of my former students (I am so astonished!) is the production designer for "The House of Sand and Fog." ("Fog and Sand?") It is wonderful to see how this chick has hatched.
Thanks to you both, again, and thanks to those who are writing on this list
Andrea (aka, "mother hen")
