Hi Ms. Potts,

Thanks for the tips. I am not a volunteer. I have a ten year+ work history
in adult education, and I currently work for workforce in adult and literacy
education. I participated in EFF when it was initially being piloted in
Texas, and I am a certified Bridges to Practice trainer. My remarks were
directed to the misperceptions that cause -- and I have been guilty of it as
well -- volunteers and voluntary literacy organizations to be undervalued by
the field.
