George,

I hope I'm not being idiotic, hard to tell some days.

I have met Sondra, she has been an adult educator, she invented all this,basically--with a lot of help, but she was the guiding spirit. She doesn't need my approval, but I approve of her. She has created something that a lot of people care about deeply, I admire that. She has made an impact and is now onto next steps, where she will likely continue to make an impact.

Meta, whom I have talked with over the 4EFF list serv, and whom I have confidence in, is devoted to EFF.

I received a personal email yesterday from an educator who had had the same problem I have until she got instruction from Meta, she understood my dilemma.

Look, the problem is this: the concepts are not self-evident, they are masked by the language. That's why experiential is important.

I in fact have a stack of materials about EFF inches away from me as we speak (write?). I have off and on spent some time with them. I may not have everything I need, but I went to the utk site and got as much as I (an outsider) could, I believe.

I will figure it all out, I know, but maybe not this minute. A lot of subjects I explore until x point, when I have to say, OK, that's it for now, I can come back to it later.

(some minutes have passed....)

So here is the acid test: Do you think you would fit into the EFF framework? Would the standards work for your life? For everything you have been through?

Try it out on yourself.

Andrea
