Hello Everyone,
I'm glad to see we are exploring how we are to "go on" together! We've heard
from more members on the "Options" thread, first-time posts, than any other so
far. I hope we will continue to hear from you on future professional
development-related topics, as I'm sure we all have much to learn from your
experiences!

I appreciate reading the diverse number of options presented, but I would like
to strongly suggest that if anyone has any other response to the "Options"
thread that has not already been voiced, to email me separately at
<jataylor@utk.edu>. While the options thread was not intended to elicit this
great response, the "Options" and related threads are causing an email flood.
While I know that sounds a little dismaying, it is even more noteworthy to
recognize that this response is a strong statement to the incredible potential
we have as a field to construct new and future understandings about
professional development practices. To that I say kudos!

Secondly, when you reply to a list posting, delete all previous emails that do
not pertain to your reply. All of the original messages take up a lot of
memory space, and are cumbersome to wade through in digest format. This is a
courtesy to all those who have institutional limits on how much email can be
stored before messages bounce, and to those who are subscribed in digest
format.

Thanks for such fantastic energy and dedication to the field of professional
development! I hope we continue to hear from first-timers on this list, and I
look forward to future ideas and the best practices that will be explored.

If you have a response to this email, please reply to me separately.
Respectfully yours,

Jackie Taylor
