I would like to ask that the participants in the two threads "Re: I hope my
critics read this" and "Re: educator's role in politics" take this
discussion off-list.  I subscribed to this list to learn about current
practices and future trends in the field.  I typically exercise my right to
use the "delete" button, but I think folks are now misapplying the list
guidelines. Would the moderator please respond to this point?
