NIFL-AALPD Colleagues,
I would like to call your attention to a new resource list compiled by
my colleagues Maria Elena Gonzalez and Sandra Darling, called From Many
Lands: Immigrants and Immigration in the U.S. This is a sample of
materials which can be found in the Adult Literacy Resource Institute
library in Boston, and many of these would be helpful to professional
development staff interested in multiculturalism, diversity, immigrant
experiences in the U.S., citizenship, and other areas affecting
immigrants. You will find this in the May/June issue of the the Adult
Literacy Resource Institute's All Write News at
http://alri.org/newsletters/may03issue.pdf
