I know that many of you subscribed to this list attended COABE in Portland, Oregon last week. I also know we have some new subscribers that joined our forum last week after learning about AALPD, and I wanted to welcome you to our room! I am so happy you could join us, and I look forward to learning from the broad range of experiences you have to offer. This list houses a diverse group of professional developers, who are interested in discussion ranging from new ideas and best practices in professional development, sharing resources about what works in PD programs across the country, as well as discussing the broader implications of research, policy, and practice on the field of PD. This question is for anyone who had attended COABE last week - What stood out for you? What sessions did you attend that you enjoyed, and what are the implications of what you learned for the field of professional development? I am thoroughly energized after attending COABE last week - I look forward to hearing about your experiences! All the best, Jackie Taylor NIFL-AALPD List Facilitator jataylor@utk.edu
