Dear Debbie,

I read your wonderful post on this Saturday morning full of spring bloom.

In neuroscience terms you describe the "construction" of the ability to read in your students--they transferred the outside world inside via the experiences you provided.

This kind of "evidence" is all over the field of neuroscience.  Maybe if we expanded the definition of "science" to include"neuro-science?"  

The difficulty seems to be that "evidence" is too narrowly defined.
