I appreciate your prompt for us to vision what professional development could and should be. Leadership would work to include provision for support (funding, time, resources) for practitioners (teachers, program administrators) to build cultures and communities of learning and of respect for one another's knowledge and for the notion that we all are committing to further learning and improvement of our practice in service to improving learning opportunities for adults.
