Thanks, Jackie **************************** Hello Jackie, I hope you will pass this message along to the listserve members as I am unable to send to it. To the question What is this EFF method? Equipped for the Future is a standards based Adult Education system change and improvement iniative. It's based on research of what adults need to know and be able to do to participate and keep up in today's world. The framework links preformance standards, assessment, and accountability as well as professonal development to improve learning. Each standard has a performance continum that describes levels of preformance from "novice" to "expert". The levels are aligned to the National Reporting System's levels. EFF bases instruction on student's needs and goals. You can find more information at www.nifl.gov/lincs/collections/eff. I find in using EFF my learning activities are more authentic, real-life, and are more purposeful. Thanks for your question Carol! It's not so much a method. More like a system. Lisa
