I look forward to learning more from your experiences with PD. It seems a bit quiet as of late - has anyone else has had the same observation? Any insights as to the reasons why? I realize some are in the midst of holiday preparations, but there are several hot issues afloat right now, and I thought perhaps it might be meaningful to explore some together. What REALLY concerns you related to PD right now? What do you see as current hot topics for teachers and PD practitioners in your program or state? What are the hot topics for learners, and how are those topics impacting teaching and professional development, or vice versa? How might we explore hot topics in ways that expand our thinking and, if applicable, lead to positive change? I look forward to learning of and exploring the professional development issues that concern you. Best, Jackie Taylor NIFL-AALPD List Facilitator jataylor@utk.edu
