I just mentioned the H. Zinn idea and it took off. I also posted some suggestions to make it as specifically PD as possilbe, limiting the discussion to 4 PD ABE activities. I did start a yahoo newsgroup at your request. However, the idea was to have PD activities here, and not somewhere else. Also, I don't want to coordinate anything. I am merely psoting suggestions to get this started. Grant season is starting and I have reports and applications to do, so, I'll help, but don't want to take any leadership. So, I'll help and I'll tell people how to register in the "new" discussion group if you guys don't want us here. However, I want to know if people want to do it here or somewhere else. Also, I am not going to post suggestions anymore, if in the future, a lot of people start to show interest, and then someone says take it somewhere else. I tend to believe that everything needs to be discussed in the open and that everyone should participate the way they want. I would, for example, never ask Tom to take his stuff somewhere else, even though I don't think it has anything to do with ABE or PD. I will question the relationship, but wouldn't send him to start a Yahoo discussion group for his stuff. However, I strongly beleive that what is starting here does have to do with ABE, ESL and PD.
