On a slightly older thread, one of the people experimenting with Moodle on literacytent wrote to ask about how to develop a course on the system. Upon investigating this question, I realized that NOBODY had the proper privileges for this - a dozen or so of you signed up to explore the system, but probably didn't get very far as a result. I have given everybody who has already created an account course creation privileges. If you were checking out the system before and got stuck, take another look if you're interested: you should now be able to create courses and evaluate that part of the system. If anyone else wants to join and investigate this, go ahead and create an account, and then email me with your username and I'll give you course-creation privileges so you can test it too. All feedback will help me evaluate whether it's a service I should offer in a more-than-experimental fashion. I'm keeping the site password-protected during this phase, just as a general precaution against the Big Bad World, but that will of course change if I decide to make it "live". URL: http://moodle.literacytent.org username and password for accessing the site: ltmoodle / ltmoodle then you'll use your own username and password within moodle to move around. Hope that isn't too confusing. I'll be interested in any and all comments, good and bad. I didn't write Moodle, so don't worry about sparing my feelings. :) Cheers, Steve -- Steve Linberg, Chief Goblin Silicon Goblin Technologies http://silicongoblin.com Be kind.
