Thanks for sharing that web site.  I've printed some of the pages.
Perhaps you can share with us something of what you know about
Accelerated Learning and what you think are its potential applicability
to the field of adult literacy education.  I ask that in special
reference in relationship to your earlier reflections of plateau
learning.

Good morning everyone. I thought I'd pass this free professional
development
opportunity along.

The International Alliance for Learning (IAL) is hosting
a series of free conference calls in the next couple of weeks. This is
the
organization that promotes accelerated learning, which has demonstrated
itself
very successfully in corporate training; with remedial reading in
children,
and foreign language learning classes. I think there is some
applicability
to ABE/GED populations, but there is little research with these
populations.
Anyway, the conference calls are free if you're interested.
