Hello everyone!
Given that we're well into the swing of things this fall, I'd like to learn 
your perspective on the professional development (PD) that's being designed 
and offered for this program year.

Please answer any one or more of the questions below. If more than 2-3 
subscribers respond, I will compile responses and post them back to the list. 
Responses sent directly to me will not be attributed: <jataylor@utk.edu>.

1.  Please tell us what's happening -- What are some of the professional 
development activity(ies) in your area (program, region, state or abroad) 
which are being continued?  What seems to be emphasized even more (or perhaps 
less)? For example:

- Hybrid PD and technology integration?
- Regional/Program-based PD?
- ABE Content Standards development?
- Research-based practice?
- GED Preparation, ESOL literacy, basic literacy, numeracy, and/or writing 
instruction (or particular aspects thereof)?
- Managed enrollment?
- "Accountability PD"?
- Other areas?

2.  Are there new PD initiatives in your area? If so, tell us about them.
