There are some organizations that deal with training of trainers, such as
ASTD (more for workforce ed.) and there is one for educators also (I forget
what it's called, but it's more for k-12).

To my knowledge, nothing exists for training of trainers in adult
education, in terms of being good trainers, most of what exists for adult
educators is related to adult education content.

I would like to see a strand at the COABE conference specifically for
trainers of adult educators (for ABE resource center staff) that would
address effective PD practices - or maybe a separate conference effort.
