We have developed a Train the Trainer Online that is targeted specifically at trainers in adult education. It is now in the pilot phase. Vicky Sanborn, the force behind this training, will be presenting on it at the AAACE conference in Pittsburgh. If you have any questions about the training, please email Vicky at: vjsanbor@vcu.edu. ************************************************************** Lauren Ellington Online Training Specialist, Learning Disabilities Specialist, and Writer/Editor of Update and Update on LD Virginia Adult Learning Resource Center Virginia Commonwealth University 817 W. To my knowledge, nothing exists for training of trainers in adult education, in terms of being good trainers, most of what exists for adult educators is related to adult education content. I would like to see a strand at the COABE conference specifically for trainers of adult educators (for ABE resource center staff) that would address effective PD practices - or maybe a separate conference effort. -J --On Thursday, October 13, 2005 4:59 PM -0400 jataylor <jataylor@utk.edu> wrote: > Jeff Fantine Director, Literacy Center College of Education Ohio University 338 McCracken Hall Athens, OH 45701 800-753-1519 fax: 740-593-2834
