AALPD Colleagues,

Reviewing the web pages of state literacy resource centers listed on
the Adult Literacy Education Wiki at

     http://wiki.literacytent.org/index.php/StatePD

it looks like only the following states are offering regular online
distance learning (DL) adult education professional development
courses (PD). If your state is not listed, and it does offer online
adult education PD courses, please send me a web site address where I
could learn more about that.

States which regularly offer adult education PD using online DL:

California
Florida
Indiana
Kentucky
Maine
Minnesota
Tennessee
Virginia
Washington (state)

Have I missed a state which is offering -- or planning to offer -- PD
by DL ?

I am aware that the states which are part of Project IDEALl offer
online courses on how to provide distance learning. And, of course
there are a number of organizations offering adult education PD by DL
which are national in focus.

When I have completed my research I will post it in the PD section of
the Adult Literacy Education Wiki so all may benefit.

Thank you for your help.
