Currently, we're involved in Project IDEAL, which has supported programs for a few years to pilot various DL models/materials. Ohio ABLE staff are required to attend New Teacher Orientation and a Learning Disabilities Core Training Series - both of which have multiple parts, online and face-to-face. Also, we've developed some optional PD activities, such as Cameras in the Classroom. We believe that the best PD has multiple pieces and varied delivery. -J --On Thursday, October 20, 2005 10:39 AM -0400 David Rosen <djrosen@comcast.net> wrote: > AALPD Colleagues, > > Reviewing the web pages of state literacy resource centers listed on the > Adult Literacy Education Wiki at > > http://wiki.literacytent.org/index.php/StatePD > > it looks like only the following states are offering regular online > distance learning (DL) adult education professional development courses > (PD).
