Hi Cheryl,

I was just wondering why you are no longer able to use the BEST test? We use
the ESOLA informal oral language inventory and the CASAS. This enables us to
get a sense of of oral language capabilities and to also use a standarized
assessment for reporting NRS levels and gain.

What purposes are you using your assessements for -- placement, internal
management of your program, reporting on NRS levels? Determining that can
also help you decide what combinations of assessment measures work best for
you.
