Hello,

I'm working with a first grader who is reading between 1.5 and 2 in Accelerated Reader books. He has only been in the U.S. for 3 months and is having great difficulty taking the tests. Several people have worked with him going over the key vocabulary in both English and Spanish, yet he continues to fail the quizzes. Is there anything we could do to help the situation, he is obviously enjoying the books and knows the key words, but is not performing on the tests.

Thank you,
Lupe Pena
