Note on TABE test prep materials. One needs to separate the test
publisher and the company that owns the publisher. CTB McGraw-Hill, the
publisher of TABE, is a wholly separate division of McGraw-Hill. CTB
does NOT produce a test prep book for TABE. Other divisions of
McGraw-Hill are in the business of providing materials, such as test
prep materials, to the public and do so.

Accountability/TABE Test Prep Book

Hi everyone,

I'm forwarding you this reply from John Gordon to Tom's Research Note.
Anyone have information on the TABE test prep book that he is asking
about?

Thank you, Tom Sticht for an articulate and thoughtful message. As with
so many other issues, we seem to be going backward on the "assessment
and accountability" front. Has anyone noticed that McGraw Hill is now
marketing a TABE test prep book?

John Gordon
