Hi everyone,

I wanted to remind folks that Monday (Dec. 6-10) begins our discussion
about CASAS with guest Jane Eguez, Director of Development and Certified
Trainer.

Recommended preparations for this discussion:

   1. Check out the CASAS homepage at www.casas.org and click on "About
CASAS" in the left toolbar to get some background information.
   2. Click on "Products and Services" to view a Q&A that discusses how
the CASAS system can be useful in a variety of contexts.
   3. Would CASAS users identify themselves, their state, and their
program. Let us know if you are a classroom teacher, a program
administrator, or another type of ABE worker.

During the week of December 13-17, our guest will be April Zenisky,
Director of Computer-Based Testing Initiatives, Center for Educational
Assessment, University of Massachusetts at Amherst. The topic will be
Test Development and Administration.
