"U.S. Citizenship" Public Service
Programming to Air in September

LOS ANGELES, August 30 --"U.S. Citizenship: A Dream Come True," a
one-hour informational public service program, will air unscrambled on
International Channel in an effort to encourage immigrants and permanent
legal residents nationwide to become American citizens.  In recognition
of National Citizenship Day, September 17, the program will air in
Cantonese, English, Mandarin, Korean, Vietnamese and Spanish on three
consecutive Saturdays in September.

Academic institutions are encouraged to tape the programs for permanent
storage in their libraries for multiple educational use, including
government studies, language learning and cultural awareness.  Educators
are encouraged to create curriculum in support of this programming.

The programming will be unscrambled, and available to educators,
dish-owners and cable operators via satellite on the following dates and
times: Saturday, September 14, 11:30 p.m. ET / 8:30 p.m. PT (Cantonese),
12:30 a.m. ET / 9:30 p.m. PT (English); Saturday, September 21, 11:30
p.m. ET / 8:30 p.m. PT (Mandarin), 12:30 a.m. ET / 9:30 p.m. PT (Korean);
and Saturday, September 28, 11:30 p.m. ET / 8:30 p.m. PT (Vietnamese),
12:30 a.m. ET / 9:30 p.m. PT (Spanish).

Please consult your school's technical department.  The signal will be in   
"Fixed Key," or unscrambled, and can be received with a VCII Plus,   
WITHOUT authorization, on Galaxy 7, Transponder 24.  Please consult the
