Please allow me to introduce myself. I am an EFL instructor at Fukui University in Japan. I am also an American, by the way. My main teaching and research interest is, of course, TEFL. The connection with this listserv, however, is that my main sub-area is L2 Literacy, particularly within my own situation and the larger Japanese context. I am writing a paper giving an overview of EFL Reading in Japan. As I do so, I hope to share questions and answers with you who are on this listserv. BTW, I accidentally deleted the incoming em calling for a self-introduction, so I am assuming that it was this listserv that sent it. If not, my apologies.
