Neil Sturomski and Charles Washington representing the Center's Washington office, and David Scanlon and Daryly Mellard from the Center's University of Kansas Institute for Learning Disabilities offfice will be at the AAACE Conference. Neil will be presenting on Thursday from 4-4:50 on "The National Adult Literacy and Learning Disabilities Center: Screening, Intervention, Training, Dissemination." On Friday from 1-4 pm there will be a panel presentation consiting of: Neil, General introduction-definition of adults with LD James Koller, Screening issues David Scanlon, Intervention issues Patricia Rickard, Transition Issues Sandra Koehler, Training/practitioner perspective and issues Chris Lee, Consumer viewpoint The National ALLD Center will also have a display and handouts in the exhibit area. Please introduce yourself to the staff, they would like to meet you. Eve Robins will be doing a poster session on Thursday at the Orton Dyslexia Conference from 11-1:30.
