Hi ! I have been lurking on this ListServ for quite a few months now, and I
thought I would introduce myself. I work for the National Adult Literacy
Database, in Fredericton, New Brunswick Canada. Via our Website
(http://www.nald.ca), we provide information to literacy practitioners and
learners throughout Canada, on different topics such as Events, Resources,
News in the literacy field, Funding, etc.

We often recieve calls for specific information as well, and here is the
second reason I am taking advantage of the ESL ListServ today.-- A person
phoned us, looking for audio tapes that she could use in her ESL class. She
says she would like to get a hold of a resource like this, so that her
students can learn the "correct" pronunciation of words, since English is
not her mother tongue either.
I would appreciate any information you have,
