Dear Matt,
Sorry that I have to send this to the entire group. Twice I tried
to Email you and the messages came back. I am interested in having a
catalogue of Signal Hill reading materials. Send it, please, to Carol
Sawka, 5702 Nodaway, Spring, Texas 77379.
Does anybody else have any really interesting reading materials for
beginning and intermediate ESL readers? My students and I love the true
story books by Sandra Heyer. They are incredibly captivating for junior
high to adult. Each story includes new vocabulary, discussion questions,
and writing. I have used them with all levels of ESL. Terrific!!!!
Your comment about writing workshop," The more specific the tasks,
the more productive the workshops," is exactly right. I'll never forget it.
Thanks, Matt.
Carol Sawka
