Greetings!

As a new list member I've already found some interesting resources and look
forward to learning more.

I teach a beginning ESL class in an overcrowded Adult Ed program in Oxnard,
CA--the strawberry capital of the world1 Classes are usually a homogenous
group of students from southern and central Mexico but with diverse
learning skills and experiences.

I uses a variety of visual materials and am want to try using a video
camera. Does anyone have experience or suggestions to offer?

Also I am looking for bilingual (Spanish/English) reading excerpts of
American literature. I know such material exist in Europe, but have not
been able to find any here. Help appreciated.

Thanks, and I look forward to more interesting discussions.
